Mark Charter

Audit, Assurance and Superannuation
Mark joined the firm in 1996 and has developed the Audit and Assurance, Superannuation, Compliance and System Advisory divisions of the firm. He is responsible for the running of these services and ensuring the firms highly skilled team can be deployed to meet clients needs.
Mark has been a registered company auditor since 1996, approved SMSF auditor since 2013 and also an authorised representative of the SMSF Advisers Network for providing superannuation advice. For over 27 years Mark has been servicing our varied clients in the Agri, Aged Care, Education and Not for Profit sectors.

Craig Cowan

Taxation and Professional Services
Craig joined the firm in 1987, and is a specialist in the Taxation and Business Services division of the firm. He has worked at MF Partners for the majority of this time and spent 4 years in London working for Barclays Life Assurance, a division of Barclays Bank, and WestLB Panmure, a European growth Investment Bank. Craig and his team provide a proactive and customised service to a wide variety of business and taxation clients. With over 30 years experience in these fields, encompassing income tax, goods and services tax, business structuring and other taxes, Craig has a wealth of experience to offer his clients. Craig is a Chartered Accountant.
Vernon Ware

Taxation and Business Services
Vernon joined MF Partners in 1994 and became a partner in 1998. Vernon has a varied client base, both industry wise and geographically, and handles complex taxation issues for both individual and corporate clients. He has achieved major gains for clients through effective tax planning and a thorough knowledge of Capital Gains Tax concessions and business rollover relief. Vernon specialises in advice on business taxation, sale, acquisition and restructuring. Vernon is a Chartered Accountant.

Business & Taxation Services
Lisa completed a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Accounting and Business Management. With over 35 years experience, Lisa brings to the firm a wealth of knowledge and skill. Lisa is always looking for the best outcome for our clients be it taxation planning and consulting, business strategic planning and structuring or estate planning. Lisa enjoys camping with friends and spending time at her farm.
Tim Finlayson
Chartered Accountant
Tim is a long standing team member at MF Partners recently racking up 20 years of service. Tim works in the assurance team and is also licenced under our affiliate superannuation licensee (SMSF Advisers Network) to provide specialist superannuation advice for self managed superannuation funds. Tim provides audit services to our diverse range of assurance clients which include nursing homes, registered clubs, community organisations and agricultural companies and co-operatives. He also provides tailored advice for Self Managed Superannuation (SMSF) clients including SMSF setup and windup, pension commencement and tax effective retirement structuring. When he is not assisting clients in the practice Tim spends his time kicking round his home town of Lennox Head usually chasing his 3 disobedient Samoyed dogs around/and or his equally disobedient two teenage children"

Holly Bailey

Holly brings her expertise as an SMSF Specialist to the MF Partners team. Holly is licenced as an authorised representative of the SMSF Advisers Representative. Holly's 19 years of experience in accounting also provides business, tax and audit services to our varied clients.

Leigh McLennan
Chartered Accountant
Leigh is a Chartered Accountant who commenced with MF Partners in 2009. Leigh works in our Audit and Assurance Sector and has been involved with our larger audit engagements in the school, local government, health, licensed club and aged care sectors along with a number of smaller entities. Leigh also has specialist skills in Payroll Software. When not at work you will find Leigh chasing her 2 gorgeous children around playgrounds.
Steven Ison
Chartered Accountant
Steve joined MF Partners as a Trainee Accountant in 2015. Steven works in the area of business and taxation services, using his skills to assist a wide range of clients particularly those in the transport, manufacturing and primary production industries. Steven is looking forward to providing opportunities for business and individuals to achieve their goals and meet their obligations as seamlessly as possible. Steve also enjoys spending time with his young family camping and making memories.
Dave Cullen
Accountant
With 30+ years experience in the finance industry, Dave has built a strong relationship with his clients. Dave has become a pivotal team member. When away from the office, you may find Dave sitting on the banks of the Wilson River.
Victoria Alston
Accountant
Victoria has worked in the finance sector on the North Coast for 20+ years before joining MF Partners in 2014. Victoria provides support for our Audit and Assurance team working closely with our clients in the real estate, licensed clubs and aged care sectors.
Simon Thomas
Accountant
Simon has completed his Bachelor of Accounting with UNE. He is a valuable team member in our audit and assurance team and is looking forward to continuing further studies.
